Responsibilities
- Provide accounting and clerical support to the accounting department
- Prepare and maintain accounting documents and records
- Reconcile accounts in a timely manner
- Data entry of financial transactions in the general ledger
- Research issues and/or discrepancies
- Follow established standards, procedures and applicable laws
- Prepare reports and summaries of financial data
- Ensure completeness and accuracy of data
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years business/accounting experience required
- Microsoft Office products experience with proficiency in Excel required
- Proven accounting experience, preferably as an accounting clerk
- Familiarity with basic accounting procedures
- Hands-on experience with spreadsheets, financial reports, AP/AR
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Data entry and word processing skills
- Must have strong verbal/written communication skills
- Must have ability to manage multiple deadlines and work under time constraints with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work with a high sense of urgency
- Ability to work in a face paced, high volume environment
- Ability to work well with others
- Must be able to handle confidential/sensitive information with the utmost professionalism
- Must be able to live by and embrace our core objectives of providing accurate work product
- Must comply with all company policies and requirements including dress code
- Customer service skills helpful
Screening Criteria
- MUST HAVE STABLE EMPLOYMENT HISTORY.
- Must be a CPA or CPA eligible with at least 1 year of accounting work experience.
- Must know how to use MS Excel and knows how to use basic functions and formula
- Has excellent communication skills. Can articulate thoughts in English with minimal grammar errors.
- Schedule and location:
- Onsite: Must be willing to work in the morning or mid-shift schedule
- WFH: Must be willing to work on any schedule
